Day 1:

Guests arrive at Venice Marco Polo Airport and drive to Verona to spend the evening in Piazza Bra. Welcome with a spritz, discover the wonders of Verona’s Arena, Giuletta’s golden statue and balcony, or enjoy a gelato walking the Italian cobblestone streets.

Day 2

Ode to Amarone - Let’s drive into Valpolicella and immerse ourselves in the history of Amarone. We’ll begin by meeting the Quintarelli family and tasting their exceptional wines. Enjoy the afternoon buzzing around lake Garda and the Bardolino shores, enjoying the wonders and food surrounding the lake.

Day 3

Pasta Pasta Pasta! - Up and down and around the hills of Valpolicella, we’ll drive to the best teacher in the area and learn how to make, stretch, and cut pasta by hand at Trattoria Caprini. Later we’ll get the chance to indulge in all your work in a pasta tasting lunch.

Day 4

Lago di Garda & Vintage Vino - Relax with a magnificent spa day, wonderful lake activities, or leisurely shopping as you get ready for the tasting of your life. Sipping on some of the oldest vintage wines in the region, you’ll spend a day at Bertani with me, unearthing your favorite Amarone vintage.

Day 5

Venezia - Let’s ditch our car after we drive back to Venice and explore the wonders of the Venetians Cicchetti! Walk with me through the San Marco piazza and hope it’s not high tide! Get lost walking the streets of Venice and take a sunset boat cruise on the main canal, aperitivo in hand.

Day 6

Le Isole - Put on your boat shoes because we are headed to the islands of Murano and Burano! Visit one of the oldest houses of glassblowing and watch masters at work as they practice an ancient artform passed down for generations. Entice yourself with wonderful chandeliers, vases, caricatures, jewelry, and some of the most spectacular glassware in the world. Finish the day on the colorful island of Burano, where we will dine on a Michelin rated meal at Venissa. Over dinner we will discover and hear about the story of the long lost grape Dorona and its triumphant revival.

Day 7

Ciao Ciao - Leave Venice on your last boat ride to the airport. Don’t forget to enjoy one more gelato at the airport before your next trip back to Italia.
